Fluid Mechanics is a tribute to legendary studios Onesize, and Polynoid, as well as motion designer Pierre Magnol (Bphoton/Gkaster), and director Chris Cunningham. What originally started as a weekend experiment in filming oil and water, quickly became a full blown project set in a moody soup of black and white footage and animation. Inspired by the wonderful music of the Serein record label, specifically Nest – and their track 'Far From Land', I took to work on producing a homage to those heroes I still look up to.
